We are excited to have Dr. Audrey Siegrist join the health care team at Adobe Veterinary Center caring for birds, reptiles and other exotics.
Dr. Audrey Siegrist is a 2007 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Siegrist completed a one year small animal/exotic pet/zoo medicine internship in Tucson. She has worked in private practice seeing exotics and companion animals in southern Arizona ever since. In addition to private practice, Dr. Siegrist has provided veterinary services to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum since 2009. Dr. Siegrist has a special interest in Avian and Exotic animals and has completed numerous workshops in order to provide the most up to date medical and surgical care for her patients. Dr. Siegrist has advanced training in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery of birds, endoscopy of birds and reptiles, anesthesia and medicine of fish, and dentistry of rabbits, rodents and ferrets. She has a wide breadth of knowledge across the animal kingdom and has worked on animal species ranging from African elephants to goliath bird eating tarantulas. She is an active member of a number of veterinary professional organizations including: the Association of Avian Veterinarians, American Association of Zoo Veterinarians, American Tarantula Society, Association of Sugar Glider Veterinarians and American Veterinary Medical Association. Outside of work, Dr. Siegrist enjoys riding her horse and spending time outdoors with her husband and animal kids.
