In the past, the Equine Herpes Virus has been known to spread to alpacas and llamas.
In the current outbreak, there have been no reports of camelids contracting the virus.
Luckily, they are less susceptible to the infection than horses.
We feel that is is best to keep your llamas and alpacas where they are and not move them around at this time.
