I just spoke to the State Veterinarian who confirmed that the horse that tested positive is in Northern Arizona. We are aware of several strong suspect horses throughout the state so we will keep you updated as information becomes available to us.
Right now, all confirmed cases in the US and Canada were horses that were at the cutting horse event in Utah.
